Dear Members,

We need a Dimension to be set for Expense type. It consists of Employee Names & Phone Numbers and when we select Employee Name it should show all its values and if we select phone numbers it should show all its values ( Refer the below attached Image). We need all these to be set under one dimension. Is there any standard functionality available in Business Central. Please assist me in resolving the issue.

One option - in the Dimension Values Page you can use Begin/Edit Totals in the Dimension Value Type. This will allow you to split between the employee's name and phone number.

For example, the Area dimension in a Cronus company:

when we select Employee Name it should show all its values and if we select phone numbers it should show all its values

However, this part is not possible out of the box. You can setup both the employee name and phone number under one expense type, but when you will select a dimension they will both be part of the same list.

Unfortunately there is no standard functionality and this requires customization.

you need to create 2 dimensions, one for employee name another for phone number, it seems not what you want, but it is not supported out of box to set up dimension per your diagram
