Asterisks at the Beginning of A/P Check "Amount in Words"

Hi:

I noticed that Report ID 10412 for the A/P check places asterisks at the beginning of the amount in words.

On printed checks, the asterisks are normally at the end of the amount in words. 

Is there a good reason for the asterisks to be at the beginning?  More specifically, is there anything wrong with having the placement of the asterisks at the beginning?

    Hello,

    This is a question for users / partners that work with checks. I am interested as well to see what comes out of this question.

    It may probably help if you post a screenshot of the check (you need to blur the information that contains PII data) and the release you are working with.

    I've used the standard check for years with no problems. But I would ask your bank.
