Running into a challenge when using advance bank reconciliation and importing our BAI2 file. We are running on version 30 and have imported the BAI2 format from the MS repository via the Electronic Reporting workspace. The statement can import however one bank transaction code should be a credit but it's only coming through as a debit. There is no function or configuration within the Transaction code mapping which dictates a specific bank transaction code should be a credit instead of a debit. The bank transaction code in question is 968 and is basically a deposit correction, but regardless it's a credit to the account, not a debit.
Has anyone else run into this with the new import process and how did you solve it? We just recently upgraded to V30 and lost the prior XLST import format that we were previously using.
Great, thank you very much, James. Appreciate the support.
Hi Peter,
1) You will need to create a new version of the BAI2 FORMAT (use the DERIVE FROM option)
2) Select MAP FORMAT TO MODEL
3) Find the below field in the Model mapping and edit the formula

James, we're struggling to see where we can make edits to these templates. Do you know of any documentation which details how to modify these templates? Thanks.
Thank you, James.
Hi Peter,
What you mention is a standard issue with the BAI2 files as the banks have different ranges for DR/CR transactions, the standard MS range is 0-399 and 400-699
The BAI is now done via Electronic reporting.
It is possible to change the range in Electronic reporting, so you will need to find someone who has the knowledge of how to create a new BAI ER Model and edit it.
Regards
James
