Hello,

my company has created some customizations in NAV 2016 and we want to be able to sell them (I mean both: NAV 2016 and our add-ins).

As far as I understand we need to become partners with Microsoft to do it. Does it work like that? Has anyone had similar situation?

    This is a bit too late :-). Dynamics NAV 2016 is out of mainstream support since few days (April 2021). 

    If you would like to become a partner and reseller then you have to move your private development from C/AL to AL and promote this for both SaaS and On-Premises through AppSource (extension markeplace).

    By saying it's too late, do you mean that no one would buy it or is it somehow blocked by Microsoft?

    You cannot sell anymore NAV 2016 licenses.

    For a limited period you can still sell Business Central 14.x license (with still Windows Client) but I would strongly discourage selling an outdated technology.

    If you onboard, you should sell version 17.x / 18.x. These are the new license allowed.
