How do I get the value of the statecode when a task is marked as complete ?

I used the following code ((Entity)context.PostEntityImages["taskUpdate"]).Attributes["statecode"].ToString(); but I'm getting the output asMicrosoft.Xrm.Sdk.OptionSetValue. taskUpdate is the post image for my plugin

    Please use below code for your reference:

    Entity postMessageImaEntity = (Entity)context.PostEntityImages["postimage"];

    int Statecode = postMessageImaEntity.Attributes.Contains("statecode") ? postMessageImaEntity.GetAttributeValue<OptionSetValue>("statecode").Value : 0;

    Hi,
    If you are using Dynamics 365, use the following code to check statecode value
    Write this logic on SetStateDynamicEntity of Task
     
    EntityReference objActivity = (EntityReference)context.InputParameters["EntityMoniker"];            
    int iStatecode = ((OptionSetValue)context.InputParameters["State"]).Value;
     
    As SetStateDynamicEntity is deprecated, there is no solution provided to fire the plugin on update event of Task to check the status as Activity is the main entity where all these values of Statecode and statuscode are stored
