Logic app and CRM

Hi,

I created a logic app on Azure.

When I using the Logic Apps Designer and use a blank template, I choose trigger "Dynamics 365 - when a record is created", in the Organization Name drop-down box, I can't find my organization. I manually type in the organization name, then choose from the Entity Name Drop-down box, and it showed "Could not retrieve values. Crm Instance was not found."

I do have a CRM instance, but why I can't choose from the logic app?

Thanks,
1. Does Logic App support all the CRM date entities, even it is a new customized entity?
Yes, all entities that are SDK accessible should be available.
2. How to do the fields mappings in Logic App for CRM, for example, I have an entity in CRM called employee, and in Dynamics AX, I get the employee entity as well. How can I map the fields?
That would require you to either do the mapping directly in the logic app or hand off the mapping logic to an API map to do the correlation for you.   There are a number of ways it can be done really.

I have a couple of questions regarding Logic App and CRM.

    1. Does Logic App support all the CRM date entities, even it is a new customized entity?

    2. How to do the fields mappings in Logic App for CRM, for example, I have an entity in CRM called employee, and in Dynamics AX, I get the employee entity as well. How can I map the fields?

    Thanks in advance,

When you created the logic app and added the  "Dynamics 365 - when a record is created",  did you need to sign in?

If not,  click the link in the bottom of that shape called "change connection" and sign into the account that has the CRM instance on it you want to interact with.

You should not have to type in your organization name.

    Hi Wayne,

Looks like we are using CRM online, so there is no CRM VM instance.

But if that is the case, how CRM online uses flow or Logic App?

    Regards,

    RE: Logic app and CRM

Have you tried it in Flow instead of a Logic App?  Is your CRM instance and your Azure account part of the same Office 365 account?

If so, you might need to open a ticket with the Microsoft Office team to troubleshoot.
