Plugin .dll error

Hi all,

         I am trying to register a .dll file in plugin but i got error while adding.the error as follows 

Unhandled Exception: System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Users\aldoushuxleyv\Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Projects\ClassLibrary2\ClassLibrary2\bin\Debug\MergeAnnotation.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

Is there any way to overcome this problem?

    It does not like something in the dll.. Try changing the target framework (if it's set to .NET client profile, use .NET 4)
