Historical Inventory Trail Balance to Excel

I am using GP2013. My historical inventory trial balance GP report produces lots of aero stock zero value items. I would like to produce a report that does not contain these. I have asked support and they say it is not possible. My other option I thought would be to export as tab or comma delimited file to excel and then remove the zero lines. Unfortunately the data is all over the place. I have also tried to reproduce the data as a smart list and have been able to produce an inventory item and value list without the zero item however this is current data, I can not make it historical data for example as at end of previous period stock take.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check my answer on this similar question. I created a stored procedure that I then linked to Excel. It automatically eliminates zeros lines.
