All previous years are monthly from Jan 1 to Dec 31 and the first quarter of 2022 also configured with the Period 1: Jan1 to Jan31, Period 2: Feb1 to Feb 28, and Period 3: March1 to March 31.

Note: Current calendar shared across legal entities.

Going forward in D365 finance and operations, the client wants to implement the 4-4-5 calendar at the beginning of the second quarter of 2022.

What is the impact of changing to 4-4-5 calendar?

  1. Is it advisable to make the change in the middle of the year?
  2. Points to consider implementing the 4-4-5 calendar. How to create 4-4-5 calendar in D365 F&O?
  3. What is the impact of sharing a 4-4-5 calendar across legal entities?
  4. Is there impact on previous year Vs future financial reports/ fixed assets depreciation?
