Do you know if there's a way to lock the Calendar so the date cannot be changed? I looked for a security object but couldn't find one. Client would like it locked so users don't inadvertently change the date and post into the wrong period. Thanks.
Hi Frank,
I have split your question from the original post as you have a different question.
The option to change the date is managed via security permissions on the display menu item SystemDate. This is part of the privilege ClientEssentials. You can create a new privilege and set deny access for delete, create, update. In that case, the selection should be ignored by the application.
A small addition to the reply above. You would also need to deny access on read level. So fully denying all access to this SystemDate menu item. I just wrote and published a blog about this: Security how-to: Disable change of session date for users - Dynamicspedia
