Dear Team,
Am facing technical issue while sending/testing SMTP email setup on Microsoft Dynamic NAV [Version details below ]
The issue facing/found that, When we send test email to deferent email ID or domain, the email getting error "Mailbox Unavailable/no permission to send".
Eg. : If I send email test1@mydomain.com to test1@mydomain.com - working fine.
If i send email from test1@mydomain.com to test2@mydomain.com - getting permission error/mailbox unavailable.
my smtp server is smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com.
In order to sort out the issue, i have tested below scenarios.
Deployed internal Microsoft SMTP relay server and outbound connection smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com. When we test NAV with internal relay server, the email are transmitting from NAV to relay server.
the email are sending both above eg. scenario. but test2@mydomain.com are greeting failed on SMTP relay server [inside the Badami Folder ].
in the same time, i have tested SMTP tester tool to send email by using same internal relay server. all test email to same domain and external domains are works fine.
In addition to internal relay server, i have used on premise Microsoft Exchange server SMTP, the result is above same like above result.
So, I conclude that, the MS NAV not sending emails to outside domain or even internal email other than same email ID in atuh.
Can anyone advise what could be issue on NAC side, is there extra setting should i followed on NAV.
