Business Central OData Power Query Error

Hello,

We have Business Central tables connected to Power Query via OData feeds. These queries used to update just fine, but ever since adding a third company in BC, the queries throw this error:

/OData: Unable to read data from the transport connection: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host/

The queries update within the Power Query editor without error, but they do occasionally take longer than normal. However, the table in the worksheet won't update and always throws this error. From previous posts on this issue, it sounds like it's too much for the query to process. I've already tried splitting the queries into smaller pieces, keeping them all together for processing, loading to separate tables first, etc. and nothing works. It seems like a Microsoft Excel insufficiency, but if there's something else we can do to get this to work, that would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Jared

@Judy  How can the bandwidth be increased for queries like this? There aren't that many rows and each refreshes fine (as well as the consolidated appended query) within the editor. Filtering won't help because I filter everything right after it's pulled in.

What happens is I have 3 separate queries in Power Query (one for each BC company) . These pull in all General Ledger lines, and then filter for a specific account range based on cells in Excel:

In this example, I'm wanting all ledger lines from all 3 companies that hit account 6290 between January-September of 2023. This range could be expanded to have accounts 6290-6299, or any other range. These 3 queries load just fine both in the editor and in a spreadsheet. However, when I create an append query to combine all 3 results, it throws this error. The append results work fine in the editor, but for some reason, it's unable to produce the result within the Excel sheet

Any ideas why this would work within the editor and not in the spreadsheet? Or any work-around suggestions? I've tried refreshing each query independently, but the append query still fails.

    Thanks,

Business Central OData Power Query Error
    Hi Sir,

The issue might be caused by Power BI generating too many concurrent calls, or by joining data from other data sources, or by refreshes happening at the same time as other refreshes.
Please try to filter data which will improve performance and possibly avoid future issues.
    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,
    Judy
