Counting Plan for specific dimension of a product

Hello Everyone

I need to run counting plan process with a specific product dimensions. This can run upto 50 dimensions (different) for 10000 items. One way to approach this is to create 50 different plans with query filled as 1000 product variants (combinations) predefined. This works fine.

But, if we have new items or products coming in every week, its very difficult maintain this query.

Do we have any other approach for this request? Can we just create a query for that dimensions and system suto pricks up all the items linked against it , everytime we run the counting plan. (tried using it, but its not working.

Hy rejul,

for the moment it is not quite clear for me what you exactly mean.

You can assign an item (not the product variants) a counting group Do you currently use the feature of counting group yet?

When you setup this feature you can create more or less automatic counting journal lines that contain all items and all combinations of existing product dimensions from an item.

After that a counting journal is created that contains all combination of product dimensions.

So if you have new items with new product dimension, just create the a new journal for this counting group.

When you create a new counting journal you have to activate the product dimemsion you need.
