Hello

Like most companies we have a headquarter and branches and our branch users are accessing GP through Remote Desktop. On our server windows 2008 R2 we created Remote Desktop application (RDP) for GP called Dynamics.rdp.

Now all branch users are accessing GP by using Dynamics.rdp, this is much better as users don't access server by conventional remote desktop they just double click Dynamics.rdp and GP will start on there local machine like its installed locally on the machine.

Now, we have no problem with smart list reports exporting them to Excel but our problem is with exporting GP built in reports such as customer trial balance and balance sheet, etc. When we export these reports as CSV file or tab delimited they are exported to to the server hard drive.

Is there a way to export theses file directly to user machine?

Hi Mohammed,

you have to modify slightly your RDP definition file... Follow the step-by-step instructions from the KB313202 on how to attache remote drives : support.microsoft.com/.../313292
