How can we enable the parameter "Classify as tangible product" in the product master. Also can you please help us in understanding the functionality of it.

Hello Community,

I see this "classify as tangible product" flag on released products. Can someone help on how this can be enabled? Also, is there any functionality associated to this?

I see this flag is available in the category hierarchy aswell and I tried by enabling it for the category and linked my product to the "Category". Still I dont see this flag getting ticked in the product master.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Hello Harshita,

This functionality is mainly used when business need to do an item arrival or purchase return at a category level. System only allows tangible category to be used for those functionlities.
