Reserved item not in inventory on sales order

Hi all
 
The planning worksheet has been generated. On the sales order , reserved item not in inventory message. After deleting the planning worksheet, the message doesnt appear 
Any ideas the relation between a planning worksheet and a sales order?

    Hi,
     
    There could be a couple of things to check.  What are the planning parameters for this item & SKU if they exist.  If the re-ordering policy is order then there will be a direct link between the planning worksheet and sales order.
    Is the item set with a Reserve Policy of Always as this could also create a direct link.  Running the planning worksheet does create reservation entries so you could check the table itself to determine what has been created when you get the error on the sales order.
     
    Search for table information and the reservation entry in table 337.
