Hi Team,

Our customer is on AX 2009, recently they had a server crash and had to re- install AX 2009 SP1 on the PROD server with application back up and recent data backup.

We are currently unable to run any workflows on the system, all transactions are on "pending" status.

Tried the below steps, but was of no luck

1. Reinstall Workflow component

2. Batch server configuration / validation

3. tutorial_workflowprocessor Manual execution

Kindly request your support here, to enable the AX 2009 back to life.

Could you try to update the title of the question to something more descriptive than "Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009"? Thanks!

Are batch jobs working at all? Please check System administration - Setup - Server configuration and check that

    - some of your new AOSes (don't know if you have 1 or more) is marked for "Is Batch server"

    - has more than 1 Maximum batch threads

    - has some other schedule than 00:00:00 - 00:00:00

    - Is associated with the batch groups that you wish to process

    Hi Nikolas,

    Thanks for the quick response,

    1. Yes, we have the AOS marked as "batch server" under system administration - Setup - Server configuration

    2. Have 8 Batch threads

    3. scheduled with 12:00

    still no luck.

Do other batches work correctly? Does the AOS server have the same name as before? Have you used the same BC proxy account when installing the workflow component?

    Hi Martin,

Yes, the AOS has name as before and have used the BC Proxy account while installing WF component.
