Create Link to Report and setting parameters

Hi,

I have no problems making links that will open views in Dynamics and setting filters. However, I have no luck doing the same with reports.

Is there a way to open the report window below and set the End Date and the Customer No. through a link?

Opening the window is easy enough using the link  <omitted part>/runreport?report=50064

But I have not yet succeded in setting values for the filters etc.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Check this link for setting filters https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/how-to--run-reports if that parameter is not of the dataItem then you cannot set the value can set the value for the dataItem and then use that value to set the filter on your variables during OnInit report trigger.

    Hehe, it is possible. :-)

Thanks, but adding anything to Dynamics is out of the question. Was hoping to be able to do this on the report mentioned as well as other reports.

    Hi,

I don't think that's possible. When adding the filter-parameters from a Page-Link, NAV shows the error "RunReport action has extra unknown parameters."

To sail around the problem, I would give it try by creating a new Page which would call the report with the filters of the page. And then just call the new Page with the desired filters.
