Is there a listing of OOTB security privileges?

I was wondering if there is a listing of all of the OOTB privilege rights in D365?

It would be neat to have an entire list handy, but  currently I'm looking for the rights on: "InventModelGroup"

e.g. I'm looking to know what the default Display Menu CRUD rights are for that entity.

Thanks,

Rich

I have the same question (0)

yeah, I figured if there were such a list, it'd be kind of a "snapshot" in time, of that iteration..

    Thanks Andre

I guess, I'll hope nothing is amiss with any particular privilege

    Hi Rich,

There is no dump of this. The out of the box security is part of the application metadata and can also be consulted in Visual Studio.

If there was a listing, it will change continuously due to the 8 updates a year from Microsoft.

Thank you Andre, I should have specified: I'm concerned that security may have gotten changed, by applying a priv, and changing it's rights..

So, I was thinking maybe somewhere, there's a dump of the OOTB  info...

    Hi Rich,

There is a list of the privileges on the Security configuration form. Also, you can export the list with privileges.

If you want to know the access rights for "InventModelGroup", you can open the form, go to Options and open the Security diagnostics. It will show you the related privileges, duties and roles.

Usually there are two type of privileges for menu items: Maintain and View. The maintain privileges to have all CRUD access. The view privileges do only have view access. If you want to verify if there are no changes on the standard privileges or if the definition for the two types of privileges are correct, you can go to the Security diagnostics form, find the privilege and then look at the menu item details and related access rights.
