Hi :),

What kind of customizations can be done in Microsoft Hosted CRM?

Is it possible to create:

  • Custom workflow assemblies?
  • Plugins?
  • Custom ASP.NET Pages/Dlls in the crm-bin Folder?
  • Javascript OnLoad / OnChange Events
  • Reference external IFRAMES

Is there an overview of possibilities by Microsoft?

    Custom Workflow - Yes
    Plugins - Not sure, but I think NO
    Custom ASP - Not sure but I think NO
    Javascript OnLoad/OnChange - Yes
    Ref Ext iFrames - Yes

    I know that the YES items are possible but I'm not sure about Plugins and Custom ASP...

    Hi Mike,

    Custom ASP.NET pages/DLL are supported as long as your Hosted partner is willing to host them for you.

    Custom workflow assemblies yes using sdk 

    Plugins yes using sdk. you can write your own plugin

    Custom ASP.NET Pages/Dlls in the crm-bin Folder  yes using sdk. you can write your own asp.net server control and put in on to the iis

    Javascript OnLoad / OnChange Events (javascript can do lot more than just that)

    Reference external IFRAMES not sure what you talking about

    If Microsoft is your hosted CRM then we do not support putting your managed code in our cloud yet. If a partner is hosting CRM then you have all options open
