Change number field to string

Hello

I am trying to convert a number field into a string field.

Using WF copy the number into the text but it keep the number format if bigger then 1000 ( example: 12,333) with the "," sign.

Using JS only work if the number changed on the form manually but this field is also changed by workflow .

How can I get the sign out of the string ?

I am aware of this option but I can't Change the format of the system to all the users just for this field

Go to settings>>Administration>>System settings>>Formats>>Customize>>Number>>Digit Group>>Select Blank>>Apply & ok
