Hi Experts,
I am having issue while importing the solution.
I developed the solution in on environment and exported it. While importing the solution in another environment I am getting error. I am seeing that in my exported solution Actual entity is there.
Here is the screen shot. Can you please help me?
Regards
Were the entities added to the solution without add all assets? Was everything published as well?
Yes.
I published this from dev to test instance few days back.
But now I exported the solution from test. The export had no issue. But unable to promote to Prod.
Any help would be appreciated.
Upon looking into it I did not find Microsoft dynamics scheduling solution in my 365 instance. It was there in other instances but not present in the instance where I want to import. How can I import Microsoft dynamics scheduling solution to avoid this error? Can you please help me?
Hi,
navigate to below URL and go to solutions tab and then you should be able to select scheduling solution and install in your target instance.
port.crm.dynamics.com/.../InstancePicker.aspx
Replace CRM- with your CRM instance based on region for example India region it will be CRM8
Thank you Bipin for your response. I followed the steps you told me.
I did not find MicrosoftDynamicsScheduling in both instances installation. I never installed in my dev instance dont know how its installed.
Can please check the thread if I am wrong in understanding?
Below are the installed solutions in my environments
Dev Instance:
Prod Instance
Hi Rupesh,
Try navigating to https://port.crm.dynamics.com/G/Instances/InstancePicker.aspx, check the solutions and applications that are installed, and see if you can add the Service Scheduler application. You might need the entire Customer Service app installed. There are some discrepancies between the environments in the manner of the First Party (Microsoft) apps that are installed. You need to fix this or you will always have deployment issues.
Check the Application tab or select your environment, click solutions and compare the installed solution.
Thank you for your response. I am able to resolve the issue. I removed the unwanted entity from my solution and it worked.
I solved the same issue, but the new config url is: admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/
