Hello,

We have Navision locally in our company (Working through lan), I wanna know if i can access Navision remotely (directly from the interface below)?

The server that holds the database as shown below is 192.168.2.251.

    If you have NAV 209 with classic client, yer you can open NAV by selecting server name, database name and entering the correct credentials.

    If you're using NAV 2009 RTC version, you need to open the Role Tailored Client.

    Hello,

    I have Nav 2009 with client classic.

    I use a VPN Software called LogMeIn Hamachi since a while.

    I installed it on the local database server.

    I put the Hamachi adress in the place of the local adress as shown below but it doesn't work.

    This is not a problem related to NAV but a network one.

    Are you sure that the server IP (SQL Server) is correct? Can you ping it?

    Try pinging the IP address and the server name of your SQL Server where you're trying to connect.
