I understand the steps to import as per this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/data-platform/data-platform-import-export
but I am wondering how do you set duplicate detection in dataverse? Or do you set it per table and that’s it? I know you can say to ignore duplicates when updating in the CRM itself but don’t see the step in power apps
Hi,
You can create an Duplicate Detection rule or also you can set up an alternate key.
please refer the below blog:-

Hi,
dynamics CRM platform comes with prebuilt duplicate detection rules for OOB entities. If your requirement is to define rules for custom entity then you can easily do that from classic designer tool -
Advanced settings->Settings->Data Management->Duplicate detection rules
You have the flexibility to Publish and unpublish the rules as per your need.
