Hello everyone.

I am having a problem with a business process flow. It has been working fine for the entire development of our solution in our CRM system, but now it gives me an error when i am trying to save any changes or activate it again. I am getting the following logfile:

Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: System.Web.HttpUnhandledException (0x80004005): Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> Microsoft.Crm.CrmException: Invalid workflow or workflow does not exist.

Hope that someone can help me with this one. It is only this business process flow that it is giving me the following error. The remaining ones in the solution is working fine. And the object for the flow is also a part of the solution, so that should not be the problem. But do i have to delete the flow and make it again as it seems like the system says it does not exists?

Best Regards, Casper

    Hi,

    It seems your workflow definition is corrupted :Invalid workflow or workflow does not exist, you can try to restore it from the backup if you have otherwise you can recreate it.

    Thanks for the answer. I found out that the problem was a workflow within the flow that i just removed and added again and then i could modify it again.

    Best regards,

    The same issue happened to me and I was able to solve the problem by updating a wF that was used by a BPF.

    I changed the way the WF was triggered  - it appears that "Available to Run: As an on-demand process" has to be selected.

    Hope it helps
