Second QR-code within an existing guide

Hello,

I'm currently building an environment in Guides, where it is necessary to move a lot. I'm working with unique QR-codes that is generated from a QR-code generator to make it easy for the operators to access the right guide. The problem that is encountered now is that I will probably need to split my already existing (pretty long) guide in to several guides, since the distance from the QR-code is making the guide lag.

The best thing would be if it is possible to scan a new QR-code when Im already in another guide, but so far I have not made that work. Is it possible to do this, or do I have to exit the already running guide to start a brand new one?

In short - can I only start a guide from an embedded QR-code when Im at the start menu in the hololens?
