We launched dynamics 365 last year as our first CRM system. Prior to this all of our sales person's contacts were just in their outlook address book. we had them create new contacts as they worked with their contacts within CRM. This created several duplicates contacts within their outlook address book, and in cases where their outlook synced with their iphone contact app, there as well.
I recently had a sales person use a feature within their iphone contact app to identify and merge contacts within their app. Which also seems to have consolidated their contacts within outlook.
HOWEVER it might have also broken the syncing feature within Dynamics 365 CRM and outlook so that those contacts are no longer synced.
Does anyone know if this is true? And if it is true, will anyway to resync is outlook address book with CRM to get them linked back together?
