Problems with the final posting in the financial module

Hi, I am having some problems with the final posting in the finanacial module. the users make the perfect posting in the modules, but for some reason the posting is not done in the financial.

we are using analytic accounting, and some of the accounts were created without the AC and then modified with the AC.. maybe thats the problem.

i will appreciate any help

Hi Vicky

As Mariano mentioned, with AA, the default posting option into the GL is "Post To". You can change the posting settings to "Post Through" from the Posting Setup window.

Note:

In case of Computer Checks, we cannot enable Post Through since AA does not support post through GL in case of Computer checks. They will always have to be posted manually in the GL.

Should I understand you are attempting to "Post through General Ledger" from your subsidiary module, but transactions posted from the subsidiaries are creating a batch in GL that needs to manually be posted? I also believe that any transaction involving analytical accounting will by default not post through GL. This is by design.
