Pre-Payments Sales without changing status from open to Pending Prepayment

Hi!

I want to use the pre-payment function, but I'm not happy it locks the order until the pre-payments are paid.

Is there any way to use the pre-payment function without changing the order status?

I have the same question (0)

only with customization - that the status is left as open.

Additionally to standard locking, You can set up a job queue that checks if a payment has been applied to the Prepayment invoice and automatically switches status from "Pending Prepayment" to "Released". That way Your users can use a filter to just show the Released or Open orders, and not have all those Pending Prepayment in their lists.

But I need the possibility to change and add things to the order after we send the Pre-Payment invoice. FE the delivery address, and don't have to wait until the payment have been done.
