I am in process of test upgrade of our existing GP 2010. To achieve created new server OS 2012 R2 and MS SQL 2012.
Already downloaded GP2013 DVD, please let me know if anyone had done similar project or no.

Thanks for response, current version is 11.00.2164 - GP 2010 running on server & sql 2008 r2.
In process of 2 separate setups.
First new install of GP 2013 (12.00.1482) on new system running server 2012 and sql 2012 and bring database of GP 2010.
Second upgrade existing 2010 running on same box.
So will see how far it goes and will need some input also, thanks in advance
You need to understand that there are upgrade paths when upgrading versions. Depending on the version of GP 2010 you are on will dictate the build of GP 2013 you can upgrade to. I would review the following link and upgrade manual:
