Here is a message I have never seen before. During the upgrade from GP 2010 to GP 2013 I receive this message during the upgrading of the DYNAMICS database. When I clicked OK it continued to upgrade the DYNAMICS database and then proceeded to upgrade the company databases. There were no error msssages in the log file. Does anyone have any clue what the error may have been?

Hello Richard,
I agree that while it is an odd error, if Utilities continued after you clicked OK and the system tables, DB_Upgrade and DU000020 both show all the databases have been upgraded successfully, then my thoughts would be that it did upgrade. Normally with an actual error, it'll stop right there and even if you click 'Update' over and over, it'll just keep looping back to the error.
Before trying any further upgrades, make sure the DYNAMICS..DU000030 table is completely empty.
Thank you,
This upgrade was our test upgrade. Now that we have second server in place with the GP 2013 code, we will just slide the databases back in place to try it again. I will turn on the DEXSQL.LOG and check those tables for any issues. This first upgrade was just to see if there were any issues. Thnaks for the advice.
I am not quite optimistic that everything will be smooth and fine although the process proceeds. To my knowledge, the conversion process, which is performed while the utilities are run, includes the changes which are applied on several tables. Therefore, in order to ensure that everything is just fine, I suggest checking the Dexsql.log which is supposed to track everything that happens throughout the upgrade process.
Kelly Youells has such an essential article regarding the upgrade troubleshooting, and the steps to be performed. Check it below;

Furthermore, the following tables might be of a great importance;
when utilities has finished the database upgrade process and the entire process is successful, The status filed is supposed to get back to "Zero"
Hope this helps,
I have done many upgrades and not seen that error before. But the fact that when you clicked OK, it continued rather than forcing you to exit utilities, and carried on the process to the end - would certainly give me confidence that the upgrade process was ok.
