Dynamics SL 7.0 compatibility

I have a customer who is still on version. I am aware that extended support for this version ends October this year. I am trying to get them to upgrade but they have many external systems that interface and they want to know if version 7.0 is compatible with Windows 10 and Office 2016. Does anyone have any information regarding this? Thank you in advance.

    Bill,

    Thank you for posting this question to the forum. It is difficult to say if Office 2016 would work with SL 7.0, however I have seen sites install SL 7.0 SP4 on Windows 10 machines. Depending on how your users work in SL, the suggested way to continue running SL 7.0 on new machines until you can get upgraded would be to move SL 7.0 into a terminal server environment so that users could continue to use SL as they are used to, but also get the newer hardware in place so that you can gradually move towards a SL upgrade.

    Yes is compatible Windows 10 PRO, i am running SL 7 SP3 in 20 pc clients.

    just you have tu run cmd as administrator in every pc clinet this script:

    NET USE S: \\192.168.100.5\DynSl7 /PERSISTENT:YES

    where 192.168.100.5 is the IP of your server

    DynSl7 is the folder where SL is installed
