Looking for experiences using Migration Dynamics for CRM 2011 On Prem to D365 Online migration

Hi all,

I'm moving a CRM 2011 on prem system to D365 online and am looking at the usual ways of getting the data online like Scribe and SSIS but came across "Migration Dynamics" by Cobalt which advertises data transfer with with much simpler configuration and no downtime, plus the ability to sync the deltas during the migration process itself. I've run the trial and it looks promising, but the trial only does the basic lead/contact/account/opportunity data and none of the more difficult stuff that causes heartburn like activities.

Has anybody out there used Migration Dynamics that could share their experience? If it worked as advertised, and how long the actual migration ran?

Thanks,

Rob

Thanks, Adrian. We've also got Kingswaysoft on the radar, but I'm mainly curious to hear from anybody who's tried Migration Dynamics. It looks like it could take a lot of the headaches out of a migration, but I haven't seen or heard much about the product outside of the company's website.

    Hi Rob Landolt,

I have not used Migration Dynamics by Cobalt, but I have migrated data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 online. I used SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with the KingswaySoft SSIS Integration Toolkit for Microsoft Dynamics 365. With these tools. I was able to migrate even complicated stuff such as activities and the Product Catalog with ease. This might work well for you.
