Sales Order - Adding Product

Posted on by 728

We are encountering an issue with our integration between GP and CRM.

We use Scribe for our integration.

Here is our situation:

Order was submitted to GP from CRM.  It integrated properly.

About a month later, the order was updated in GP which triggered an integration to CRM.

In that month of time, the parts on the order were retired in GP and thus updated in CRM.

Scribe fails on the integration stating that only active product can be added to an order.  How can I get around this issue?

At this time, the order in CRM looks like there are no line items.

Thank you,

Will

    Hi,

it's not about being an admin or not being an admin. You can only add active products to the price lists, orders, etc.. and, since the one we are talking about has been retired, Dynamics won't allow adding that product to the order.

    Alex,

Yes, to activate the part again in CRM would work.

The part is actually retired in GP.  A retired part can be on an existing order.

Thus we need the part to be retired in CRM so that a user cannot use it on any future orders.

To activate it would defeat the process.

I am curious as to why Scribe cannot overcome this limitation as it is updating the order with administrative privs.

Did you try to reactivate that product in crm?
