we are using sql server 2008 sp1 64 bits as HQ server database and SQl server 2008 sp1 in stores database but only database with same collation Latin, we have 14 stores and we have not problems. the HQ Client, POS and managers are in 32 bit machines with no problems.
I'm using SQL 2008 with RMS 2 and it works ok,
just try to update your machins with windows update,
Thank you

Hello,
I have been unable to find any formal documentation on this subject, so we tested this issue on one of our sandboxes. We were able to get RMS 2.0 to work just fine with SQL Server 2008. We are continuing to test this, but so far we have not seen any issues.
