Is there a way to print multiple price labels at once from a Purchase Order in Store Operations Manager?

Posted on by 155

I am hoping there is a way to print price labels for multiple items at once inside of Store Operations Manager. Ideally when a purchase order is received that contains numerous items it is necessary to print price labels for all items being received. Instead of doing this item by item can multiple items be done at once?

We have a plug-in for RMS called RITE Label.  Among other things, it can help automate label printing for purchase orders as they are received.  Perhaps this will get you around your issues.  If you are interested in learning more, please drop me an email and we can discuss.

The problem I'm having is that no matter how many items I select from the purchase order when I get to the print preview it only gives me page 1 of 1, thus allowing only the first item to be printed.

I can add all the items I need to the label wizard and update the quantities fine, the problem lies in the next step when it goes to print preview. Has anyone come across this problem?

I think it is as simple as choosing how many copies you want, when you go to print labels.

If you have 10 different labels in the preview, and as you look at the first page, go to print and print 2 copies.  You'll get 2 of each, 20 labels.

Make sure you added all the items you want to the right-hand list and make sure the quantities are correct. When you get to the print preview it should say "page 1 of X" where X is the total number of labels to print.

I appreciate the advice and this seems to be the right track but the problem now is that when I get to the point of adding the items then picking the label size I'm going to use it goes to Print Preview. Once it does this it shows only the first item listed and does not allow a mass printing of labels. Is there a way to disable print preview and fix this?

Try clicking the Label button on the purchase order and using the Label wizard.

You can add all the items or selected items from the PO
