Requested Ship Date

Posted on by 10

Hi, I was wondering if it’s possible to change the requested ship date after posting the sales batch. As we usually have the requested ship date to be the same as our invoice date. However, after posting i realised that although the invoice date was changed to 31/12/2021, the requested ship date remained as 31/12/2022. Is there anyway to amend this? Also, will this affect any other reports?

    Hi reen,

after posting GP does not allow to change the date from frontend but you can update the date from DB.

You may set up a SQL server SQL job to update the field in SOP10100 to whatever you need, for example each night, based on the the last invoice date for that same MSTRNUMB. ~The exact logic depends on how you use GP.

In core GP there does not appear to be a way to change the date after posting. With that said, the data is in the below tables (depending on if it's in work or posted).

    select ReqShipDate,* from SOP10100

    select ReqShipDate,* from SOP30200
