Not able to start Business Central Demo with Power BI Licence

I started Business Central demo, try to open Power BI report inside Business Cental and saw error message:

"You do not have a Power BI account. If you have just activated a license, it might take several minutes for the changes to be effective in Power BI."

I already loged in power bi in another tab, I restarted business central, restarted enviroment, closed whole window. And of course I wait more than hour. Any other idea please? Thanks!

It looks like Business Central is unable to detect your Power BI license, despite being logged into Power BI. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

    1. Verify Power BI License Assignment

    • Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Users → Your Account
    • Ensure you have an active Power BI Pro or Free license assigned.

    2. Sign Out & Reauthenticate in Business Central

    • In Business Central, sign out and log back in using the same Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) account linked to Power BI.

    3. Manually Connect Power BI to Business Central

    • Open Power BI Service (https://app.powerbi.com)
    • Click Get Data → Services → Search for Dynamics 365 Business Central
    • Sign in and connect manually.

    4. Enable Power BI Embedding in Business Central

    • In BC, search for "Power BI Setup"
    • Ensure Power BI Embedded Experience is enabled.

    5. Clear Cache & Try in Incognito Mode

    • Clear browser cache/cookies and retry in Incognito Mode.

    6. Check Business Central Permissions

    • Ensure your BC user role has access to view Power BI reports (e.g., D365 POWER BI USER).

    7. Wait for Azure AD Sync

    • Sometimes, it takes up to 24 hours for license changes to sync properly.

If the issue persists, try removing and re-adding the Power BI Service connection in Business Central. Let me know if you need further guidance! 🚀
