Hi folks,
I am working to design a workflow to have a middleware ESB between a .NET app and AX.
Orders come from .NET app go to Middleware ESB to be decided to go to AX or other ERP systems.
ANy information and sources will be appreciated. (Especially authentication subject).
Thanks in advance

If you know how to communicate with AX from an application, it will be the same even if the application implements the ESB architecture. It's clearly not the point.
You have some difference between your two applications, either in their capabilities or in the environment where they run (e.g. the .NET app is in local network and the middleware is in cloud). But you haven't explained the problem, therefore no solution can be suggested.
Right now orders come from .NET app through AIF(xml based). Later another type of orders will go to .NET app and for specific type will go to middleware ESB instead of pumping to AX through AIF. but I am thinking of we will have authentication issue or other issues. I am not sure if I answered your question. Anyway thanks for your time
Does it really matter that it's ESB? Won't it all be the same as for any other application? (Feel free to educate me about intricacies of your ESB.)
The question is what you expect from the integration. E.g. do you want to synchronously call SOAP web services exposed by AX? Or do you have a completely different way of integration in mind? When this is clear, we can look at details.
