Sales quote price simulation override operator logon failure

Issue: When attempting to apply a price simulation to a Sales quotation, a reason code and manager password needs to be captured in order to override the total discount applied to the order. The pop-up does not accept the employee number and commerce password as stored on the employee record.

Repro steps:

Go to Sales & Marketing > Sales quotations > All quotations

Select a quote in State - Created

Ensure there is one or more items on the sales quote

In the navigation panel click Quotation > Analysis > Price simulation

Click Yes on the pop-up

Create a new price simulation record

In the simulated prices tab, ad a new discount %. Ensure the new margin is more than 10%

Click the "Apply price simulation" button

There will be a pop-up to capture override details for the total discount

Select an override reason

Enter an operator ID and Password. The system gives you an error "invalid login"

I attempted the following user ID and password combinations and all failed:

Employee ID and POS password
User ID and Azure password
Employee DI and Azure password
User ID and POS password

Other investigations and config steps:

Override permissions configured in the Retail module
Employee has price override permissions:
User has Sales Manager role:

In Override permissions form add SYSADMIN role additionally:
