value entry wrong while change status of production order

Hi expert,

i have a scenario, in which user posted consumption and output journal on 28 march in released production order(posting date on prod. order 28 march) and change the status of released production order status as finished at 01-April and in value entry date is showing 01 april. pls see below screenshot. I want to know how this happens?

I tried the same scenario but when i change the status on 01 April then system showing me output entry in 28th march. now i need your valuable expertise comments on this. Please assist and thank you in advance.

value entry wrong while change status of production order

once the entries have been posted on a certain day, it is not logical or possible for BC to update the posting date. The only possible explanation is that the output is posted on april 1, and the rest of the entries are posted on 28/3.

BC allows user to post consumption of parts or capacity on different dates before finishing a prd order.

Hi,

While changing the Production Order Status from Released to Finished, you might have given the posting date as April 1st and enabled the Check box for Update Unit Cost.

Did you change the allow posting from in the Gen. Ledger Setup?
