With the new window command displays in GP 2013 R2, if the window command is set to “Action Pane Strip” or “Action Pane”, the Delete Row option is not on any of the buttons in the command/ribbon area.
To delete a row, while on the item, I can right-click and I get options to cut/copy/paste/insert/delete etc. I can also expand the Item Detail and from that window there is a Delete button to delete the row.
However, I have a customer who doesn't have those menu options when he right-clicks on the item. This is due to having Manufacturing installed so that product most likely has added right-click functionality to navigate to Manufacturing windows as well. We tested this on the server by doing a SQL Profiler to see what product was being used when doing the right-click and then disabling that Manufacturing product temporarily in the Customization Status Window. When the Manufacturing product was disabled, the Delete Row option did appear when we used the right-click functionality.
I am wondering if this is a bug because it looks like from the screenshot that there is a line under “Job Link Maint” like a separation of more menu choices. Yet we can’t get any more to display. Should the right-click have the insert and delete row functionality in addition to any Manufacturing shortcuts or links to their windows?
Thanks,
Sheila
