Error in General Journal while pasting account no, on 2nd line or random line, it is picking another account no after pressing enter (on validate

There is issue while pasting account no 10401-000, on 2nd line or random line, it is picking another account no after pressing enter (on validate) i.e. 10201-001. Chart of account search text is correct.

Looks like it is a bug.

    In which region you are trying? I just created those two same account No. in German region, and Look like its working for with the same steps.

    First make sure there are no customization installed on your system that can cause this.

    If you still think there is a bug you can contact your partner and they can raise a support ticket with Microsoft.

    I am unable to replicate this in the version i am using.
