Hi All,

I support a Business with 2 companies in Navision, Admin Staff in that business always get confused which Company they are working in because the Nav Screens all look the same.

I there a way to change the default colour Blue to another colour?

or is there any other suggestions?

Steve

You can use system indicator which will show the company name. Please check below link how to setup.

    This is an awesome question.

We have 10 companies and it would help tremendously if there was some way to tell which company we're in 'at a glance'.  It DOES get confusing.

That is better than nothing but still would love to change the colour

    Hi,

The system indicator on the Company Information helps you in this case and you can specify the System Indicator Style as well, based on which it'll be highlighted on the every page.  If you are talking about different themes for different companies, I feel it will be more confusing as most of the users have to remember each color or theme code (especially when they are new or you may have maintain another legend for each color code).

The system indicator would give a clear idea as to which company you are in.

    Best Regards,

    MMV

    Hi SteveIrving,

You can setup System Indicator Style for each company. There are 10 styles (Standard Accent1,...,Accent9) for you.

You can only use the system indicator for that matter. We do not have the access to change the color of the Dynamics NAV depending on the company.

It would be much easy for the user if that functionality was there, but sadly it is not. Even we get many requests from customers who are working on several NAV companies.
