What "is not working" exactly means? Is the problem only in the AX window, or is it in the whole system? Is this the first time you started AX, or have you already completed the initialization checklist?

    Dear Martin Dráb,

    Thank you for your reply.

    1. "Not working" is means "No matter where I click is all no response".

    2. When I open AX client windows, whole system will have this problem.

    3. It is not the first time when I started AX, and I am already completed the initialization checklist.

    4. By the way, when I open the SQL Management Tool, the mouse also not working.

And I found if I open the AX by right click at AX icon, and choose "Run as administrator", the mouse is working!!!

But I think this is not the best answer because I have a lot of users will need to log on to use the AX. I can't set everyone to administrator.

    Thanks again!!

    Hi Evelyn,

Please check the performance of the AOS Server, if is slow, this will happen, Try to increase the RAM,CPU counts and HDD if needed of AOS server or the VM.

I would normally suggest contacting Microsoft Support, but I don't believe that running AX on vSphere is supported. VMware will likely not support you either. That's the risk using unsupported platforms.

    Dear UMESH PANDIT,

    Thanks for your reply. :)

Our machine's performance is not very well.

When I open AX first time after power turned on, normally need 10 seconds, or even longer.

Our machine have 2CPU and 8core, RAM  is 64GB. I think it is enough to run the AX, or maybe is VM have something wrong?

    Dear Martin Dráb,

Thanks for your reply again. :)

We have been contacted Microsoft Support, but didn't receive response.

And the "I don't believe that running AX on vSphere is supported." is means vSphere is not supported AX?

Actually, we found when we open "Server Manager" and then open AX, the mouse will not working. And if we didn't open Server Manager and directly open AX after power turned on, the mouse is working.

But it is still strange, so we keep find the answer that why the mouse will not working after we open Server Manager.
