Hi:

Is there a "hard" month-end closing in Business Central? I have always been told that there is not, but someone said that they found a way.

General ledger setup and user setup with the allow from/to posting date fields are the way.

Hi John

Do you mean if you should close month absolutely by certain date? Then the answer I heard is no you can close it anytime.

But if you want prevent users from posting to certain month then follow Josh's suggestion.
