However these settings looks the one related to the Audit History tab, is this correct?

Basically Audit is the feature provided by the Microsoft which will be used to record/audit about the changes which has been done on an entity. Now in the entity we can enable the attributes for the audit, it can be one or more than one.
The image, which has the Audit tab it will have all the Past values of the record which you have enabled for the audit.
And yes it will take storage also which you can track from the Admin Portal from your overall storage capacity.
