The 2024 BKT Tires World Women’s Curling Championship is set to begin Saturday and returning to the event for the first time since 2017 is skip Rachel Homan and her rink.

The Canadians will get to enjoy home-ice advantage this year as they compete in Sydney, NS, against the best curlers in the world, including the current four-time consecutive champs, Team Switzerland.

Homan’s team is based out of Ottawa and is made up of vice-skip Tracy Fleury, second Emma Miskew, lead Sarah Wilkes, alternate Rachel Brown, team coach Don Bartlett and national coach Viktor Kjell.
