Assembly BOM's - Specify Output Quantity (Finished Goods Qty)

Is it possible to specify the output qty produced in an assembly BOM? Say you have a recipe to make cookies, that recipe is going to be for making a batch of cookies, say 50, you'll never make just 1 cookie. Is there a way to create an assembly BOM for this scenario?

    Hi, As far as I know, the standard feature cannot be done. This may require customization.

    More details: Assembly Management (Kitting) without the need of manufacturing functionality

    You can use Unit of measure in the assembly Bom.

    First create a unit of measure Box and assign the unit of measure to the cookie item as 1 BOX = 50 pcs.

    Then you can create an assembly Bom for the cookie item but, instead of the base unit of measure pcs, you set up the Bom unit of measure in BOX.

    Then your assembly Bom components field Qty Per will be based on one box (50 pcs)
