We have a customer using GP 2013 (not R2) and they have a recurring issue where users logout of GP, but the user still shows the user in the Web Management Console. Has anyone seen this?

Thanks Windi. I'll have our client check this. I will log a case with MS if the issue they are investigating is not applicable. Hopefully, this will help speed up the resolution for this issue.
We are still having this issue for one client and we've asked Microsoft about it. The answer they gave is:
"If they are logging out properly it should be killing the session. There is an issue we are currently investigating with sessions where a domain mis-match exists. If the DNS\Netbios domain names do not match there can be an issue. So if you look at the computer system settings, what is the name of the domain here vs. how they log into Web Client Domain\user. If these are different there potentially is a problem that we are currently still testing"
For our client, there is only one domain so we're still not sure what is causing the issue, but I think it is happening less frequently after installing the year-end update and recycling the app pool.

They are clicking the Sign Out button in GP and then closing the IE window. It doesn't always happen, but in some instances the GP user is not cleared out of the activity file and in some instances it's the web mgmt. console that still shows the user in a session. Sometimes they can reconnect to that session and sometimes they can't.
